004. summer is here/patience does not come easy for me

Yesterday, my best friend Sarah and her pup Lucy and I took a great long walk along the Poudre River.
It was so lush and green and humid. I wanted to share some photos of the adventure with you.

In not so pretty news...

The past month has been so busy and the coming season is particularly daunting this year. I live with my two younger sisters in my parent's old house (they moved to Boulder last year). The older of the two is moving to Denver today and the younger is moving closer to campus next month. Me? I am waiting. Jonathan and I found a great rental right next to a big park and though it's the perfect place for us, knowing whether or not we'll be chosen to move into it is very stressful. Our co-worker lives there currently. She and her family purchased a new house that they're moving in to next month, after all the contracts are signed on June 10th. Unfortunately, we won't know whether her landlord will accept us as the new tenants until she tells him they're leaving, not until after the contracts are signed. Originally, she'd said we'd probably be ready to move in at the end of May. It's not her fault but it makes this so much harder with all the delays. It's a waiting game. One that I truly hate. On top of that my parents found renters for the house I'm living in now. They'd planned to come in August but now I'm hearing that they may be here are early as mid-June and I am seriously freaking out. I admire Jonathan's confidence that everything will go smoothly and as planned but I can't help but be afraid that we'll end up homeless in a month. It doesn't help that he'll be gone on tour quite a bit before mid-June and I am here stressed to pieces all by myself. But when he's here, I am home regardless of where I am. When he's not it gets a little harder.
